AquatiChem's Reef-PX is safe and effective anti-fungal medication for treating infections such as bryopsis and green hair algae. Reef-PX's active ingredient, Fluconazole, which is analyzed by third parties for structural identify and purity,  essentially dissolves the metabolic pathways responsible for cellular health. After a relatively short treatment duration of Fluconazole, bryopsis and green hair algae cell walls and membranes stability is compromised which results in eradication.  

• Remove activated carbon and ion-exchange resins during treatment. Discontinue use of skimmer during treatment for the first three days of treatment
• Do not perform water changes during treatment if possible
• Can be used full strength with scaleless fish
• If fish are eating, feed lightly during treatment
• No contraindications: can be used with all of our other products and meds
• Safe for invertebrates including: corals, snails, shrimp, clams, other crustaceans and molluscs

Use one (level) large clear scooper (~0.5g) of Reef-PX per 25 gallons (94.75 Liters) or 1 small (level) clear scooper (~0.1g) per 5 gallons (18.95 Liters) and add to a high flow area in sump. Powder will dissolve in system over time. Treatment only requires one dose of medication. Treatment period is 14-21 days.

If necessary, you may perform a second course of treatment. If no further symptoms are observed, replace chemical filtration and resume use of protein skimmers as well as normal feeding. Adjust temperature back to normal.

PLEASE NOTE: Reef-PX will affect desirable macroalgaes, and may cause some corals to retract temporarily. Use with caution in systems containing these species. It will not affect hair or turf algaes.

• All products are hygroscopic meaning the material will absorb moisture and degrade if left opened.  Keep top tightly closed preferably inside sealed plastic bag in between uses.
• Precautions for safe handling - Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid formation of dust and aerosols. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Ensure there is sufficient ventilation of the area.  Bottles which are opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Keep containers closed and sealed in a dry, dark, room temperature place.
